Use your tools and let it rip.

In Fabrication, we were tasked with the construction of a toolkit meant to service a niche interest of ours. As an avid collector of Beyblades since 2008, the choice of subject matter was simple, but the idea took several weeks and rotating workshops in each medium to come to fruition. The form became a hexagonal prism, reminiscent of a facebolt and it was meant to house each part of the top for rotating access and easy customizability. When opened to its fullest extent, it not only provides a variety of parts to create your own top, but it even includes a stadium to battle in as well. Through a combination of wood, metal, plastic, acrylic, foamcore, and adhesive, the toolkit came to life and fulfilled its purpose, bringing joy and nostalgia to both myself and my classmates. Below are the fabrication documents detailing the process and assembly of the kit, from concept to reality.
